We host a a lot of giveaways here on The Culinary Life, so it’s time that we lay down some basic rules for all contests that take place here on the site:

There is no purchase necessary to enter any giveaway on The Culinary Life.com. Giveaways are open only to legal residents of the 50 states of the United States who are physically located and residing therein, and who are at least 18 years of age at time of entry. Void where restricted by law, and the odds of winning depend upon the number of entries received.

The Culinary Life assumes no responsibility for late or misdirected entries due to spam filters, email problems, computer failure, for prizes lost in transit, or any other issues. The use of any system, robot, agent, or software to automatically submit entries in connection with giveaways is prohibited. All decisions concerning all matters related to giveaways are final.

A randomly selected winner will be notified by email. No cash substitutions, transfer, or assignment of prizes allowed. Winner must claim prize within 2 weeks of the send date of notification email or the prize will be forfeited. Prizes will be shipped via standard postal mail or media mail within 2 to 3 weeks after the prizes have been claimed by the winner. Winners and entrants grant to The Culinary Life the right to use his/her name and biographical information in advertising and promotion without compensation or permission.

Shipping and postage within the 50 states of the United States will be paid for by The Culinary Life. Any tax, international or otherwise, is the sole responsibility of the winner. Winner releases The Culinary Life from any liability arising out of participation in this giveaway or the acceptance, use, or misuse of the prize.

The Culinary Life is released from all liability should the prize arrive damaged or inoperable. In the event of such an occurrence, please contact the manufacturer for support.
