Hey everyone! Just wanted to let you know that Wasabimon will be moving web hosts this weekend, over to the capable hands of LiquidWeb. Why am I moving? Simply put, this site has outgrown my old host, and I’ve been noticing a lag in not only site speed, but support response time. It was time to grow, and I’ve decided to make the jump.
So if you notice anything different or broken, that’s why. Moving a WordPress blog can be cumbersome, but the migration team over at LiquidWeb has been hard at work trying to make this move as seamless as possible. Still, there may be a few issues.
That’s where you come in – if you notice anything that’s broken, out of line, or otherwise not working correctly, please let me know asap! Leave a comment here, or email me at steph at theculinarylife dot com. I’ll be ever so grateful for your help! Moving servers can be a royal pain in the butt and I could really use your help ferreting out problems.
After all of the nightmare support issues I had with my old host, I’m excited to be working with LiquidWeb going into the future. They have all sorts of great features, but perhaps the most important (to me, anyways) is their Heroic Support policy, which guarantees assistance within 30 minutes, either by email or phone. For all the times Wasabimon was down for longer than a day due to the bungling of my old web host, I’m super stoked to have a company that takes care of me!
To the future. *clink*
